What this site is
TEF Practice is an independent exam preparation service operated by OCX Software. It provides original TEF Canada practice questions, mock exams, courses, vocabulary tools and AI feedback, alongside free guides about the TEF family of French-language examinations.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Chambre de commerce et d'industrie de Paris Île-de-France, France Éducation international, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, or the Ministère de l'Immigration, de la Francisation et de l'Intégration. TEF, TEF Canada, TEFAQ, TEF IRN and TEF Études are their respective owners' marks.
Nothing here is immigration advice or legal advice. Score thresholds, program rules and test formats change, sometimes with little notice - this domain has seen major changes in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026. Always confirm current requirements with the authority handling your application, and consider a licensed immigration professional for decisions that matter.
Accuracy
We work hard to keep this site current and to date what we publish. We cannot guarantee it is complete or error-free, and we are not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of what you read here. If you spot something wrong, tell us.
Acceptable use
Use the site for your own preparation. Do not scrape it at a volume that degrades it for others, and do not republish its content as your own.
Your account and practice
Keep your sign-in details private and use your account for your own preparation. You retain ownership of the responses you submit. You allow us and the service providers described in our privacy policy to process those responses to save your work and provide the feedback you request. Do not submit material you do not have permission to use.
Reading and listening results are practice answer totals. AI writing and speaking feedback provides learning suggestions and estimates; it is not an official TEF result or a calibrated NCLC prediction. Practice does not guarantee an exam outcome or immigration eligibility.
Free and Pro allowances
A free account includes one writing assessment and one five-minute Section A speaking conversation with AI feedback. These are lifetime allowances per account. Further live speaking requires paid credits. Weekly Premium includes 3 speaking credits and 25 writing assessments; monthly Premium includes 12 credits and 100 writing assessments. Section A uses 1 credit and Section B uses 2. Included allowances expire at the end of each billing period. Purchased extra credits do not expire. Setup and reading use no credits. Early endings return the unused part of a reservation to its original balance and expiry. Refunding a credit pack removes its credits, including already-used credits from future purchased balances. Conversations also stop at the task deadline. We enforce usage limits to keep the service available and may restrict attempts to bypass them or disrupt other learners.
Subscriptions and cancellation
Premium costs CA$14.99 per week or CA$49.99 per month and renews automatically until cancelled. Checkout shows the total, currency and any applicable tax before you confirm payment. RevenueCat manages the subscription and Stripe processes payments. We do not receive your full card number. Extra speaking credits cost CA$19.99 for 6 credits in a one-time purchase. They provide speaking access, not Premium access to other content. Existing subscriptions keep their agreed price.
Cancel renewal using Manage subscription on the pricing page or the customer portal link in your billing email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and access continues until then. Signing out or deleting practice sessions does not cancel a subscription. For payment errors, refund requests or help accessing the portal, contact hello@tefpractice.ca. Nothing in these terms removes rights that applicable law gives you.
Earlier waitlist signups
Joining the waitlist is not a purchase and creates no obligation on either side. We may change or cancel planned features. You can leave the list at any time.

These terms may change; the date at the top will reflect it.
